Bromwich+Smith x Neo Financial
Financial Education Series
Talking about debt like it's not a dirty word.
Challenge
Debt and financial hardship carry a stigma that keeps people from seeking help — and that silence works against everything Neo stands for. Neo needed a way to bring real financial education to its audience without it feeling like a lecture, or worse, a thinly veiled pitch for its own products.
Approach
Six videos built around a single voice — Taz Rajan, Community Engagement Partner at Bromwich+Smith — in a light, conversational interview setting rather than a formal educational format. Topics ranged from breaking down the stigma around debt to practical steps for financial recovery, each one designed to inform first and connect back to Neo's products only where it made sense, like a secured credit card for people rebuilding credit or building it for the first time in Canada.
Result
The series gave Neo a credible, non-salesy way to show up in its audience's financial lives, reinforcing its role as a partner in financial literacy rather than just a product provider — while still tying naturally back to relevant tools within its own platform.
