MDNSS Studio

MDNSS Studio is a boutique media company for brands that move fast and think differently.

We bring order to the
chaos of media

Cinematic craft at corporate SPEED

Our experience comes from working every side of the camera and every side of the table. Narrative films. Commercials. Branded content. Documentary. We've built our craft across formats; most studios pick one lane and stay there. And we've sat inside the room too, embedded within a fintech startup's in-house team, which means we get it.

How we work

Elevated

We treat corporate work the way we'd treat any film — with an eye for what makes people actually want to keep watching. That's the gap most studios leave on the table, and it's where we live.

Creative solutions

We bring Indie filmmaking resourcefulness and instincts to the corporate work. Fast is a craft decision, not a corner cut.

Simplicity

We ask questions before we push opinions. If something needs to happen, we find the way to make it happen — simply, practically, without turning every request into a negotiation. Good sets run on the same thing good work does: kindness, respect, and people who are easy to work with.

Lean by design

We bring in exactly what a project needs, staffed and equipped around the job — so your budget goes into the work in front of the camera, not overhead behind it.

End to end

Strategy, camera, and post sit under one roof, so the schedule holds from first brief to final master — no handoffs, no lost context between the people who planned it and the people who shot it.

Borderless

Our crews travel and we work in two languages. Wherever the story is, we're already packing.

Adrian G. De la Pena

Led by Adrian G. De la Pena

Adrian is a versatile director and producer who has excelled across scripted, branded, and documentary work, building his craft across formats rather than settling into one lane. Besides founding MDNSS Studio, he has also founded Machakiller Productions, a genre film and TV production company, bringing a director's eye and a producer's instinct for running a project from the ground up.

His films have screened at more than 25 international festivals, and he's represented his work internationally as a delegate at markets like Marché du Film in Cannes and TIFF Market 2026, alongside development programs including the Blood in the Snow Horror Development Lab and Genre Rules at WEMW Trieste Film Festival. He's worked in-house within fintech startup environments, taught film business and storytelling at SAIT, developed and run his own film development workshops, and served as a festival juror for organizations including the Calgary International Film Festival and Calgary Arts Development.
